James originally joined Ansbacher Trustees (Jersey) Limited in 2007 and became a director of the Trustcorp Group in March 2009. He has worked within the Jersey Finance Industry for 30 years and has held a number of senior positions with some of the leading institutions on the Island. Over that time he has gained extensive experience in fiduciary management with particular emphasis over the last few years on employee benefit structures, shipping (for both private and institutional clients), property holding structures and off balance sheet transactions for large institutions.

James qualified as an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in 1992 and became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 1996. He spent his early years in the Bahamas and was educated in the UK. James is a principal of Trustcorp. His main focus is the ongoing management of a large portfolio of both private and corporate clients. James also has an active business development role, mainly focussed on the Middle East and he visits the Region regularly. In addition, James is a member of the Group's Risk Management Committee.
